If you've ever bought a used car, or any other major purchase that required haggling, you've probably been warned, "Watch out for fast-talking salesmen." Consumers have taken that lesson to heart for everything they buy it seems, finds a forthcoming study on consumer reaction to advertisement disclaimers in the Journal of Consumer Research.
